Hi, I’m Alyssa Vallecorsa. I am an instructional designer based in Austin, Texas. As a former educator with 18 years of classroom experience, I’ve had daily exposure to the importance of quality instruction and engaging learning experiences.
For the last few years, I have been the Senior Course Coordinator for the OnRamps Arts and Entertainment Technologies course at the University of Texas at Austin. I design and build web based experiences and components for online courses and projects including modules, activities, assessments, and extension resources for both student and adult learners. Throughout my career, I have developed a love of design, teaching, and technology that I am able to utilize in eLearning development. In this role, I have had the opportunity to work remotely and collaboratively, learn new software and processes, practice quality customer interaction, and focus on finding solutions to problems. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, arts and culture, film and reading. I also enjoy learning new things and doing deep-dive research into a wide range of topics that peak my interest. As an artist, I continue to create and show my work when I’m not off traveling the world. |
